No 7 Cleansing Balm Review
I ran out of my trusty Clinique take the day off cleanser a couple of months ago and so said I would change it up and try another more affordable cleansing balm.
The price of this product was really good. It was €13 for 150ml. It lasted around 6-8 weeks and I used it abundantly. I used this as my second cleanser. I rubbed all over the skin and removed with a warm flannel/ face cloth.
My first thought on this was it was quite a creamy and rich product. The texture was almost like a moisturiser. Usually I like a cleansing balm to be oily and greasy so they makeup appears to just melt off. Although this didn't have the texture I normally go for in a cleansing balm it did do the job and completely cleanse the skin. My skin was very clean after using it and there was no residue of the day left.
This product is for dry/to very dry skin. My skin really didn't feel any more moisturised than it would normally after cleansing so I'm not sure did I see much of a difference in that respect. My skin did feel really smooth after use though.
Overall I found this to be a really good drugstore/chemist cleanser. For €13 you really can't go wrong. Good quality product for a really good price! :)
