Today’s post is a review on a few drugstore products that I have been trialling over the past month.
First up is an eyeshadow pencil by Collection in Vintage Blush. I have been using this as a highlighter below and above my brow to enhance the shape of my brows. This is a really great dupe for the Benefit High Brow pencil at a fraction of ten price, only €4.49!! Defo recommend it, especially for that price!
I have also born trying the new Rimmel Wake Me Up mascara. It is simply fantastic! I usually use Lancome Hypnose but this product is a fantastic dupe. As you can see from below , my before and after is quite different. There was no clumping with this. The wand was really good too. This was also a complete bargain at €6.99.
So far though it was my next buy that has to be my favourite! The Rimmel Lasting Finish from Boots, €9.99 was unexpectedly amazing! I had heard mixed reviews and was on the hunt for a hughstreet dupe for the very popular Estee Lauder Double Wear. I was pretty sceptical when trying this as I am a self confessed foundation snob! I have always turned my nose up at the cheaper foundations as I assumed they would never really do that good of a job. While this is true for a lot of the them, this lasting finish foundation from Rimmel is a sure winner. It was a full coverage make up but gave a lovely dewy finish, unlike other full coverages which can be quite matte. I found this product to be long wearing even on very humid days and rarely had to top it up. All in all I will most certainly be purchasing this again once I run out, it is becoming a regular in my make up bag musts!
