Arthur Mayne’s – Cork

I have been to Arthur Mayne’s several times over the last few weeks and have been dying to write a review on this gem of a place in Cork City. Cork Is really stepping up its game in the last few years with great new places opening up all the time and Arthur Mayne’s is one of these great places! Arthur Mayne’s is an old pharmacy turned wine bar, has all the charm of an old building while bringing new and exciting dishes to the people of Cork!

There is also a decent sized smoking area/outside garden area to wine and dine in which is lovely on these Summer afternoons.

The first few times I visited it was only for drinks and as a huge wine fan I was not left disappointed. The wine menu was great as was the atmosphere! A couple of weeks ago a few friends and I decided to try out the food there and I have been back twice since! We ordered loads of dishes to share and not one of them disappointed us!

Here are just some of the dishes – sorry about the quality but the lighting was really low ( which I love about the place) !Β

The food was so good, the portion sizes were perfect for sharing. The staff were very really nice. The service was quick – we barely had the food ordered and our first dish arrived at our table!
